All I can say is wow these are great very comfortable. I had the original chameleons and I find these much better. Better support , I have had them for about 2 weeks now and love them keep up the good work merrell.

When is Merrell going to take the advice of it's customers and stick with a design that worked? Chameleon Stretch IIs were the best. Chameleon Stretch 3 and 4 are poorly designed.

Aside from my heavy Redwing work boots, Merrell's are my go to shoe. From playing at the lake to hiking the high trails, from mountain bikes to quads, WE LOVE OUR MERRELL'S. Currently owning about 9 pairs of Merrell's myself, I have never had an issue with size or fit. Merrel's are the only shoe I will order online, and just recently i tried their Articulus shorts. Liked them so much, I bought two more pair. Now if they would add tall sizes to their shirt and t-shirt line, they might just get ALL my business!!!

Very comfortable, and durable. went ahead and bought a second pair because it looks like the 5's aren't the same shoe. I'd go for a pair of lace up shoes if you are doing some serious hiking because as with any cinch shoe you are going to get some movement. they are great for being anywhere outside and extremely comfortable. They do not have the heel problem i had with the older version where something would end up being sharp back there, so they fixed that. I did get a 1/2 size smaller than what i usually wear because they will stretch a bit. 1/2 size smaller is perfect after a day of wearing them. Overall great shoes and I really hope they keep this style for a long time!

Bought this shoe for some serious hiking. Broke it in on the Rim to Rim hike in the Grand Canyon. Was very comfortable. Lacks a little in the ankle stability but that is overshadowed by its comfort. Have put over 700 miles on the shoe not including day t day wear and it is now just starting to break down.
