I bought a pair of these back in 2010 from Gander Mountain and absolutely loved them. I used them mainly as an everyday winter shoe, but definitely put them through their paces. What I really want to rave about though is Merrell's amazing customer service experience. After 4 years in these boots the loops the laces run through popped out in two places. This was frustrating but like I said - 4 years in. I called Merrell on a whim to see if maybe I could get a discount on a new pair since they were obviously way beyond a warranty. The rep asked me to send them photos of the damage and they mailed me a return authorization. I sent them my old pair and they sent me a brand new pair for free no questions asked. On top of that the pair I originally bought wasn't waterproof but the new ones were - so essentially I ended up with an upgrade! Their commitment to their customers is second to none! Read the negative reviews on this site closely and you'll notice that they've actually responded to nearly every one of them to reach out and make it right! They stand behind their products and will do nearly anything to make sure you are satisfied! So rare these days! I'll never buy my boots elsewhere ever again!
