When shoes were made in the USA I wore a EEE width. Now that the majority are made overseas Its a crap shoot if I can get properly fitted. I am on my third pair of Merrell's internet Moabs wide width and am getting ready to buy the fourth. I work in a big box store, five days/week, on their freight team: cement floors, up and down ladders, on and off lift equipment and the moab's performance is outstanding. Be careful on ladders their grip is as good on snow and ice as the ladder. The shoes have all lasted 1 1/2 to 2 years and I will keep buying them. Cons: all three pairs the inside heel area frays out by the pull tab. the toe protector needs to be extended out about 1/4 inch on each side of the shoe to prevent fraying of the leather strips.
