I manage a personal security / protection detail for a VIP and these shoes the SIGHT were recommended to me by an USAF SERE Instructor, I bought a pair of black and wore them for 3 days liked them, so ordered enough for the rest of the detail. They form fit to your feet well are non skid giving you a stable platform to perform in. I highly recommend them and will purchase more.

I love the way these shoes fit! There was no break-in period, and I can wear these all day. However, the shoe smells like toxic waste! It is almost overwhelming. I keep waiting for the smell to dissipate, and it does not seem to. Also, the tread pattern is very slippery on wet concrete.

This is my first Merrell shoe and I love it. I have always bought Rockport and did not want to try anything else but this is awesome. The shoe is light, comfortable, firm, and you feel very secure when you walk. I highly recommend it!!!

I was slightly nervous about ordering a pair of these hiker/sneaks. Depending on the brand of shoe my feet sometimes need a Wide size, and these are not available in that width. I contacted Brenda in Merrell's CS Dept and she assured me that the Sight ran true to size...but to fear not, if I didn't like them I could always return/replace them. Turns out she was 100% correct. It is a great-looking, comfortable shoe that fits my foot like a glove (sock?)! I am completely satisfied with this purchase! With a product and customer service like this, I'm sure they gained a repeat buyer with me.

I have a wide forefoot, and generally wear 4E wide athletic shoes, 3E dress shoes. Merrell has few wide offerings, and generally I find their wides accommodate my instep, but fit less well at heel/ankle. I received these in size 9.5 as an early Xmas gift. I inserted my foot with some trepidation into the shoe, and felt the familiar squeeze to my wide forefoot, but the remainder of my foot felt very happy. Rather than return the shoe to the store, I took them to the local cobbler, and asked him if these could be easily stretched in the instep/ball area. He examined the shoes and smiled. I tried the shoes next day, and this time, both my feet died sequentially and went to heaven as I wore them and started striding. I wore the shoes every day through the Holidays (I was off work, with family visiting). This morning I had a heavy heart, as I missed my family, and had to put my work shoes on. Then, I was going through a shoebox full of stuff, and found some 45" Black laces. So I am off to work in my sights.
