I've put them in 3 of my older Merrells over the last month and they did the trick. My old removable insoles were compresssed. The new ones fit perfectly and have no high spots. No rubbing has occurred, typically other brands I've had to return due to rubbing, high points in the arch, etc. I'd recommend these. Do note that I have a fairly standard foot with neutral arches.
