One of the most comfortable shoes/sneakers I've ever owned. The wide width option contributes to that. The rugged bottoms are perfect for walking on the rough terrain, sand and dirt of Iraq. Cool enough for the 140+ degree summer weather.

All I want is a wide, waterproof shoe that looks nice, but Merrell can't deliver. If you want a shoe like this from Merrell it's like buying a Model A Ford in 1928 - any color as long as it's this choc brown. Really, are you serious? The Buluga is a great color and so is the tan, but you can't get it in a wide with Goretex. You could go with the Radius and have that plate on either side of the heel rub you raw, but stick with the Moab. It is a great shoe, there just isn't any selection.

I am wearing these shoes for over a yer now and I can't be more satisfied. They are very comfortable, lightweight and they provide stability. Whith those shoes I feel that I could walk all day. I highly recommend them

For years I wore a size 11, as 10.5 where always a bit tight, especially late in the day when my feet would swell a bit. Well, I finally realized after having my feet professionally measured that my true size is 10.5 wide width. I was a little hesitant about purchasing shoes on line without trying them on, but stores in my area did not stock wide sizes. After receiving the pair I purchased, I tried them on with anticipation and was very pleasantly surprised. These were my size and actually fit my foot well. Heel feels nestled and snug in the rear and toes have room to wiggle and breath. In my opinion, after wearing them every day for two weeks,(first two days in the house just in case), these are perfect for me. I am ordering another pair of these Moab Gortex in another color and a pair of the Ventilators. Having read the reviews prior to ordering, I was forewarned that they are a bit warmer due to the Gortex, which they are. Living in New York, I welcomed the extra warmth on cold mornings, but will switch to the Ventilators when the weather warms.

I love this shoe. Originally, I bought a pair of Moab high tops and loved them. I now have the high tops and two pair of the regular shoes. They are light and comfortable and they feel great. I ordered a pair for my Dad and he also loves them. They do seem to run a little small, at least in the wide widths, so I order a half size larger than I normally would.
