I love love love these boots! I'm on my second pair. I use them in the winter for "walking" the dogs - which is really 45-60 partially paved, mostly woods. Thing is I never take them off, so I've worn my first pair out. Actually they seem fine but estimating it's time based on mileage. My feet are always happy warm and dry. I'm so happy to find out that there's a ventilator version, I'll be buying them in a month or so. I have a pair of the Moab ventilator and don't love them as much (ball of the foot pain) but now I know the Siren exists for summer - woohoo! BTW I also love my Merrell casual shoes that I use for travel, I've walked all over many cobbled European streets with no foot fatigue. Thanks.

I wear these boots for work. I walk at least 5-7 miles during my 12 hour shift and I needed shoes/boots that would hold up. The tread is great and after a 6 month break in period, I can wear them two days in a row. Why? Because they are a bit narrow for my feet. I still like them but I wish they came in a wide size. I will be using them to hike in over the summer and fall months. Do these come in a wide size? (PLEASE say yes!)

Great Hiking walking shoes for cold weather. Went to Yellowstone one May and my feet froze. So I was determine to have warm comfortable shoes for a January trip to Sequioa Nat'l Park. I was so delighted when I found these in a Miami store. Had them now for about 1.5 years and they are like new. My feet were warm and comfortable! I even wear these on a cold Miami day but mostly traveling to a cold part of the county. They look good with jeans of course. Love the shoes!!!!! . They are my 3rd Merrell shoes.

These are the best, most comfortable shoes I have ever owned. I am a currently on my fourth pair of these shoes. I am a carpenter and have found that these shoes last a very long time. Even when I am not working, these are the shoes that I prefer to wear. These shoes also don't have the awful "break in" period that other work shoes have. They are comfortable from the very first day. Great product! I even got my husband to try the Merrell brand after his old work boots were done.He said he will never use a different brand.

i bought theses boots about 2 years ago now for a backpacking trip through europe. i must say i am now in love. i was trying to decide between these and the lows; i am very happy i chose these because of the ankle support they provide. we hiked anywhere from 8-10 hours a day and i never had sore feet. the vibram sole in them is great; made me feel very secure with every step. i wear anywhere from an 8-9 in most shoes, i have really skinny feet that's why it varies so much.. but for some reason i ordered a 9.5 in these. they fit me fine with a hiking sock in them but i probably could have gotten away with just a 9. either way, they fit me great! i now use them in the work place. i work at my dads greenhouses and wear them often. in the winter i love to wear these because i can get from greenhouse to greenhouse without getting my feet wet from the snow. i also work at a local outdoors store and try and recommend them to any women looking for hiking shoes, because i love them. i am hoping to get them in the mountains again soon! the only thing i did notice is they are a little warm. but it doesn't bother me all that much cause my feet are always cold.. :))
