I bought a pair of Merrells and found them too narrow and too stiff. Gander Mountain wouldn't exchange them since I had worn them, but called Merrell and they were very accomodating. Swapped me for a different shoe and a wide width size which fits perfectly...no questions asked. Now that's what I call good customer service on top of a quality product. I'll be back when I need another pair.

I am a Geocaching nut and I spend a good bit of time in the woods on, and off of, hiking trails! First off, let me say that these shoes are the most comfortable hiking shoes that I have ever worn. They are lightweight and fit perfect. As far as the outsole goes, I have climbed over rock. walked through mud and even tread over wet, mossy areas without any slippage! These things grab the ground and hang on when you need it most! I wish that I had opted for a waterproof version but that is no fault of the shoe. I went Geocaching a couple of days ago and ended up with soaked feet, however, I must say that these drained quickly and my feet actually dried within an hour so that speaks volumes about the breathability! I would definitely buy these again! Great job Merrell!

I've had these shoes about 2 years now and I wear them 4-5 times a week walking our dog 2 miles each day. They are very comfortable and durable. When they wear out I'll get another just like them. Highly recommended.

I have never worn a more comfortable shoe. Th Moab Ventilator also disperses perspiration and heat from my feet, allowing longer walks in more extreme temperatures. The size was as expected. The surprise was the wide width, which all of the local stores didn't know existed in any Merrell shoe. Great work, keep it up, I'll be back to this well! Felix
