Not without issue but These are almost the best minimal shoe I've run in (the list is long, VFF Sprint, Classic, Bikila, KSO, Vivobarefoot Evo, Breazy Lite, Merrell Trail Glove, FeelMax Osma, Inov-8 Bare-X 200, Baregrip, New Balance Minimus MT00). The sole is fabulous and they do indeed feel reminiscent of a glove on the foot (quite similar to wearing KSO for me). The are very light, offer good grip and excellent flexible feel. The sole is comparable to Vivobarefoot soles which are hexagon constructed and consequently have excellent point (sharp stone) protection in local spots but overall flex to the terrain under foot. The thinness of the upper fabric to give that glove feel is comparable to the KSO feel of fabric except it does feel more flimsy, we'll see in time. Build quality seems better than my New Balance MT00 at good. Having found the sizing of the Trail Glove small (a 46 EU didn't fit despite that being bigger than I wear in almost all those other makes). My toes just scrape the end of Trail Glove so I've gone up a half size over the Trail Glove; the Vapor feels a little large but is acceptable at that size. Perhaps I need a quarter size. Toe space is excellent. There's one feature from the MT00 and Breazy Lite that would make this absolutely the best shoe I know of. That feature is the tongue. Both those other two shoes have been constructed to not have any large seem inside the shoe. The Merrell still has a large seem across the tops of the toes which unfortunately on me rubs and takes the skin of my toes. I'm hoping that only very loosely lacing them I'll be able to continue without socks; if that fails I'll try with light socks like the 1000 mile tri socks. I really want to be wearing these shoes as they are very very good. (But a risk if like me you have slightly hooked toes.) And at (I paid £62) around half the price of most comparative VFF these win utterly even though I love toe shoes. (Trouble for me with toe shoes is I have too bigger toe differential so these Merrell suit me more too, which combined with the price make them feel fantastic.) Because they are so light I think they win for me over the Breazy Lite despite the seam issue.
