I purchased these shoes for running on smooth surfaces and walking around wet smooth surfaces such as around water parks on holiday. These shoes are fantastic, you do not slip the sole prevents slipping even on wet tiles. I am going to use them for canoeing in warmer weather as they a much more comfortable than water shoes or neopreme boots. I also recommend wearing them for runing in wet weather because of the great sole.
