I have had my fantastic Merrell boots for 4 years. I have worn them all over the world and have covered hundreds of miles in them. From day one they fitted like gloves and I have never developed a blister. Sadly, at the end of a 10 mile walk today I have found a split and it feels like I have lost my best friend!!! However, I will go and purchase another pair ASAP.

As with the previous reviewer, a negative review I posted failed to appear so Merrell are obviously not publishing all the reviews which have been submitted. These boots are a nice fit and very comfortable. However, after a few months part of the soles, which are Vibram and according to the Merrell website has 'unmatched durability' started wearing down badly and the boots also started leaking. I have other shoes which are much older and have done many more miles and are not worn at all. I took them back to the shop who would not deal with the complaint. So much for buying more expensiver boots with a one year warranty. I would not recommend these boots and will not be buying anything from Merrell again.

Very disappointed with this mid boot. Purchased April 2012 used every other day on average for approx one-hour walk after work. Went on a 10-mile hike a couple of days ago and the result was 6 blisters. I am not happy - and will be writing to you to complain. A lot of my friends use Merrell and came recommended but perhaps they don't walk as much as I do! I have paid £30 for a pair of High Tech boots that are better than these. Gutted. I will be returning them to Millets for refund, product faulty.

Second pair of leaky boots

Today (8 June) I returned my replaced pair of mid boots to the retailer as they too are leaking, 6 weeks after purchase. No more Merrell footwear for me.

Strange how negative reviews evaporate! Also low star ratings don't apear!
These were the second pair of boots to fail after a couple of weeks and it's only February!
I buy a new pair most years but quality control is sadly lacking.
Im afraid you have lost a regular customer.
