Just a pair of these for an all round shoe and have been so impresses with these shoes. From walking around icey streets to frozen Forrest trails these kept my feet warm and dry with lots of grip. First thing that impressed me when trying them on was the quality of build and how they fit like a glove. Never have I had a shoe that's was so comfortable. I will be looking out for more of merrells products in the future.

Interested in Mojo's review. Although I loved my Merrells the same faults have occurred with mine too, albeit after 10 months. A pity as I too had had a good experience with Merrells beforehand. I will replace these with other Merrells but am looking for reviews in the hope of getting a more reliable pair. Actually, less than a years wear isn't terribly good value for money!

I honestly can't rate these highly enough. Initially I thought they were a little expensive at £105, but how wrong I was. I purchased my first pair five years ago and they've been in daily use walking the dogs etc. They finally gave up on me a couple of weeks ago, so now I have another pair and they're just great, like old friends.

Having discovered Merrell shoes about five years ago, I used your website and reviews to make an informed decision about which product to buy to replace my superb pair that died of old age. I have purchased a pair of Men's Refuge Pro GTX, which I am expecting to perform as good as my previous pair. What I cannot get my head around is, having paid out over a £100's, the box contains no care instructions and there is no help or guidance on your website. Not all your customers are experts in the hi-tech products you are selling. Considering the only issues reported by users are nearly all about water proofing issues, why is there no on-line guidance on shoe care???

Hi there, thanks for your review. In regards to care of our footwear, if they do get wet, you will need to dry them out in a warm environment to ensure they dry fully.
