Tried these boots on several times in a local shop - loved the look and feel but they were just too big - or just too small. Found that if I ordered on line, there were half sizes available. Found I needed to buy half a size larger than my normal size. Once I owned them, I was delighted - warm, comfortable and they coped with days of walking around Belgian Christmas markets! Best of all they were supportive to my ankles - I have rheumatoid arthritis and the soft boots feel nice, but don't do the job!

Due to my love of standing in football terraces at weekends, I needed something that was warm, practical and good for those long walks to the grounds from train stations........these boots are perfect!!!!! I hate having my feet too hot or too cold, in the milder weather we've had recently I didn't overheat, and I didn't freeze when it was colder!! The only thing I've found I don't like is driving distances in them, but that's my personal preference, as I don't like how boots restrict my ankles when driving.

already owned a stone pair and loved them that much i have just bought a black pair. they made last winter(2010) enjoyable, definately bearable. a good grip though not ice proof but is any boot? so warm and cosy, comfortable to walk in, even in the snow. as a bonus,neat and very stylish(not bulky like many alternatives), you can proudly wear them everyday but know you can cope with snow and the extreme cold if it arrives. they did not need any breaking in, so no nasty blisters. expensive but well worth the money and hopefully will last for years. only quibble is that i am not so keen on the white fur on the black boot, would have preferred black fur trim.

Received my boots just in time for the first snow!! Toasty warm and very comfy. Ordered a 5.5 and they fit perfectly, all my other boots are a 5.5 so they seem to be true to size.
