I've owned two pairs of these shoes over approx 10 yrs they've been fantastic workhorse trainers, approach shoes, casual,and superbly comfortable!!! Why oh why can't Merrell re produce some of the classic colours that used to be available. ( my personal fav cream/grey and petrol) I fully understand the need for continual development and improvements but surely you can't improve on an already perfect product!?

Took a while to walk them in - back of left shoe kept digging into my heel, but once that problem went away, they were back to the classic Merrell quality.

ive owned these shoes for over a year now, and theyre still going strong. ive worn them every single day, at work all day whilst on my feet, around the house and on the weekends. i really do love them. at first they felt a little snug, but theyve shaped to my feet and now feel like a second skin. never once have i had blisters or hot spots. i dont recall a single instance of having wet feet either, which was a massive problem with all the shoes ive owned prior. i really do recommend them. theyve been exceptional value, and im glad that once these wear out i have another brand new pair to take their place, although it doesnt seem like thats going to be anytime soon. oh and anyone who has owned a pair prior has remarked how good a shoe they are, which is always a good sign.

The Strikers are my favourite ever shoes! I have 8 or so pairs in different styles. They are consistently well constructed and last for ages, so definitely good value for money. It is somewhat satisfying to know that at least there are some companies that still make quality footwear. So why am I back, well Merrell what I’m after this time is something like the Black/Charcoal Striker but with a black lace! Why so dull do you ask? Well I work in the City (London) where we all wear suits and shoes. Clearly it’s too obvious if I wear trainers. However if I can have an almost black, subtle design I could get away with wearing these around without it being too obvious and therefore without looking too downmarket! Can you please help??

Excellent trainers. Second pair I have had. Very good delivery with tracking. If they last 3 years like the last ones I will be a happy boy.
