Having read about size issues, I went to a local stockist to try an example for the fitting but, as a UK size 9 found them spot on. They didn't have the style I wanted so bought on line. Very quick delivery, faster than my local shop! Very impressed with the solid construction and the snug way the shoe holds the foot. The best fitting shoe I have had for years, they will not be my last! Also given high marks by my Othotist!

I have worn Merrell shoes for many years and have been delighted. This is no exception; really comfortable from day one. Only one slight criticism, but not enough to reduce the 5 stars; the heels are slightly rounded at the sides (presumably for looks), which can give a slight tilt which could be dangerous.

I recently bought a pair based on good experience of previous Merrell footwear ownership, and a need for a pair of hard wearing smart/casual shoes. I have to say they are unbelievably comfortable - like slippers for the outdoors. Highly recommended!

I had to return another pair of Merrell which was very cheap quality(Merrell circuit grid) and Got these as the replacement. Fantastic customer service. This is very well made and very comfortable. I normally by 1/2 size up when I buy Merrell shoes. Well recommended.

Excellent pair of shoes, I brought a pair to wear on Safari and found them so comfortable I brought a second pair. The Gun Smoke are extremely smart shoes and have quickly become my favorite pair. Highly recommended
