I walk every day for one hour about 5k+ and always had trouble with my feet. After, 30 minutes I would start to feel numbness. I bought different running shoes, went to foot doctor's, but nothing help ....until I got my Merrell. It is so nice to walk and not feel pain. If you love walking barefoot you will love these shoes.

Great shoes! They are very comfortable in the gym, which is where I will be wearing them for the foreseeable future. I have been wearing Merrell Barefoot shoes for the past two years, styles with no cushioning, so there was absolutely no transition necessary for me. The sole is grippy enough to provide traction on highly polished wood floors. I can see that these would be a good choice for someone wishing to move to a minimalist training shoe. I noticed that the sole is not quite as flexible as that in the zero cushioning models. I ordered the green/aqua colourway and was a bit disconcerted to discover that it is far brighter than the photo leads you to believe. Good thing I don't mind intense colour, but this is something to be aware of.
