These are my go to shoes when the weather hot. I generally walk a few kilometers per day and wear these all day at work. It's like walking with slippers but with a lot more support. The venting is excellent and my feet rarely get hot. These shoes are so quiet that I end up "sneaking" up on people all the time. The styling has garnered quite a few compliments that have segued into discussions of barefoot running and related technology. I've also introduced Merrell as a company that makes outstanding shoes that are very comfortable for any lifestyle to many colleagues. The only weakness with the Mix Master is that the mesh that covers the outside of the shoe is flimsy. After wearing it a few months some cuts have developed on both shoes making them look like they've been through rocky terrain or something. I hope this does not affect their functionality because they are my favorite pair of shoes. I would gladly buy another pair if this was replaced with another type of covering that was tougher. This would truly make it a 5-star shoe!
