One thing I really like about these boots is the combination of zipper and laces. I generally hate boot shopping because I have small calves. Most winter boots that are meant to be tight around your calves leave such a gap at the top that they look ridiculous on me. With these boots, I can tighten the laces and tie them, and then when I zip them up with the zipper they are nice and snug around my legs which make them warmer and they look great. Another nice feature is the waterproof nylon bottom. I've had so many leather boots that get soaked through with slush and snow, and then get salt stains and end up being cold and ugly. These boots are both stylish and sensible! I should mention I'm usually a 9 but am happy with a 10 in these because you need room for socks.

I LOVE Merrell foot wear! These boots are extremely warm, I have yet to have "cold feet" in them and find my feet very cozy in them. The size is a bit small for the larger foot customer (I'm a size 11) and had to really loosen the laces to have them comfortable. Not my most favorite product from this great company but I'll keep buying!!

they fit and looked great in the store. Put them on this morning for a -40c walk to work. Toasty warm, but I had blisters on my lateral malleolus when I got to work, that was less than 2km walk. Not sure what do to with these, but I will not be able to do any activities this way.
