I'm in Montreal and we get a lot of snow, very cold temperatures and it gets very wet when the snow melts. If you're looking for boots to keep your feet warm, dry, comfortable when walking long distance and on icy areas and STYLE, you found the right boots. The bad thing that happened was that after a month getting my boots the zipper on my left side broke. I understand the boots come with one year warranty, I will contact customer service and see what are they going to do about my broken zipper. I decided to spend more money so I will have a nice winter for my feet but the broken zipper sometimes made it uncomfortable.

To walk comfortable and in style during snowy, icy, wet and cold weather
These boots were great from Christmas to early March of the first season I wore them (last year). By the 1st season's slush in March the boots lost some of their magic lightweight waterproofing and began to get damp. This season I wore the boots all of 4 times before a side zipper went, rendering one boot utterly useless to keep out snow. The zipper is long, so to replace it is costly, and the cobbler can't guarantee that when he replaces it the boot will be water-resistant. So I have had the boots BARELY one full year and am in the market for new ones. Contacted Merrell customer service about this and heard nothing back.....

Definitely one of the warmest, most comfortable, and most durable boots I own. I love how they stand up to winter snow and slush with no problems- and they are cute too! I loved my brown ones so much I had to get a pair in black also.
