This is a good commuter shoe (to work or school and back), outdoor shoe (hiking, canoeing, cycling), and casual shoe. Just bought my third pair after 4 years. I expect to get 2 years out of this pair like the others.

They've been great for walking around outside in cool weather, but my feet get really hot in them if I'm sitting at my desk.

Quite a jump from the Radius , but its fresh in my mind so here goes. Wanted to let at least 4 weeks of 10-20 km per hike to get on these new shoes, which seem like Barefoots with a bush package...lol First this , the lace up, get it right the first time, and then its just a bit of a tug , and your ready to go..But not very tight, the shoe has to fit flat, or it will hurt your toes some, this may take a few tries/days, but after a bit , your set. The rear of this shoe, amazing, no idea what happened here, I think the center of gravity was moved forward, cause you don't feel the heal, just as you move thru the step, you pickup thru the pad, and pushoff is bad if your lace job is to tight. Your gonna feel the surface your walking on better, and also secure, no slide. How long will these last, no idea, but they look strong, I like the colours avail..Get another pair of these, not sure yet , but all Merrell's are gonna get you walking , cause you just want to with these shoes... Oh, very important, I take a 10.5 in the radius,and 11 in the Pivot lace
