I moved away from the New Balance Minimus and into these Road Gloves because of the wide band across the foot on the Minimus which caused rubbing and blisters. These first generation Road Gloves are robust but very comfortable. I am able to run upto 30kms on these without any blistering. I have not yet used them on a full 42km but looking forward to it. I would be hesitant in moving to the Road Glove 2 because of the introduction of the overlays. My feet do not react very well to any constriction to the outside of the foot.

My husband seems to be enjoying the Road Glove as he breaks it in. He already has to trail glove and his only comment is that the Road Glove seems to fit a bit bigger! Other than that it is a great shoe. We both cannot go back to wearing the other types of heavy running shoes. Keep up the good work!

A great shoe to start off barefooting with. I prefer to go off-roading on my runs - call it a need for adventure - the shoes clean up nicely in an everyday washing machine.
