Quand j'ai acheté cette paire de botte, j'espérais très fort quelles soit meilleurs que celles qui les ont précédées. J'en avait assez de faire le compromis tout-aller vs performances. Je vous jure que ces bottes ont répondu à mes exigences. Je peux maintenant aller faire l'épicerie en plein hiver, en pleine tempête de neige, à -30 degrés sans me geler les pieds. Elle sont imperméables aussi et je l'apprécie beaucoup quand il y a une flaque d'eau sous la neige en slush et elles ont une bonne poigne sur la glace vive! Je suis même aller glissé avec les enfants après une sortie au Bowling cette semaine avec mes superbottes. Je les adores, elles sont un véritable passe-partout en plus d'être très belles. Je les recommandes grandement.....

The salesperson told me this boot was rated to minus 20 celcius. This website rates this boot as good to minus 32. I found these boots were cold at minus 5. Merrell's response was that this "is not a snow boot". Not sure what conditions we'd have other than snow at minus 20 or minus 32 other than snow, and even so, why do they need to be waterproof if not for protection from snow? Somebody missed the boat on making this boot live up to it's stated rating. Wish I'd not paid the high price, only to discover it wasn't accurate. Should have bought the Sorel's.
