A Siren that sounds the alarm when the weather comes up bad, and keeps pace with the worst it can throw out. Thank you, thank you Merrell for making a few styles available in a wide width. After experiencing the comfort of this shoe in a 7w it will be very hard for me to ever go back to a regular 7-1/2 (my feet always manage to stretch shoes so they overhang the soles on the outside edge). Excellent performance with no slipping or wet feet in very muddy conditions. I use this shoe mostly for dog walks and find it nice and warm in late fall / early spring when there is a little snow. Some people might find these shoes a bit too warm in the summer, but I can wear them comfortably in temps up to about +25 Celsius. Now please make me a wide sport sandal!
