Hi, I discovered this shoe in the Brisbane DFO Merrell shop. Tried on the shoes there but they only had the espresso coloured left and I needed the black one for work. Here I am strolling the internet for find them. I finally find that Athletefoot have them on their website. I go to one of their store to find out my size and here I am I order a 7.5 as I'm a 38 european size. I order them online and I receive them 2 days after, I'm really excited, I opened the box they look really really nice and classy and yet they seemed to be good to walk good distance. I put them on feel like my slippers...But the morning after I put them on to go to work, this is the reat test...after 10 minutes the back of both my heels are so hurt, I have to put on bandaids, not long after both the external side of my heels are bleeding cut by the edge the shoe. The material used for the shoe is so inflexible. I'm stubborn, I need to break into this shoes, day 2 bandaids on I give it another try, both the base of my big toes get so squeezed when walking that I can barely feel blood coming through and the shoes material is so hard that it managed to cut the bandaids and get deep in my skin! I'm very disappointed, I was so excited about this pair of shoes but it is hurting so badly no confortable. It is the first time I spend that much on a pair of shoes as I thought it would be worth the spend to have quality shoes that would do good to my feet. Day 3 in the shoes is till as bad as the others. I'm hesitating with Day 4. Currently walking bare food to give time to my feed to heal but I doubt the weekend would be enough for these injuries. I should have read reviews before buying as I found many customers complaining about similar injuries as a result of wearing these. Should we suffer this much to break into shoes? not sure.
