These shoes are so comfy that you can wear them the whole day. Did a walk with them and no problems at all. I also have the Vibram 5 fingers but the sole is too thin and I can feel the stones underneath. I also love the designs and colours. My running shoes size is usually US 8.5 but for this one I have to buy US 9 as recommended by the Merrell's staff or else my big toes will hit the end of the shoes when going downhill.

I have a lot of problems getting shoes that don't aggravate my deformed little toes and take a lot of time wearing shoes in - some of which never do wear in and cause chronic pain. The moment I tried these on I had room to wiggle my feet and there was no pressure on my toes. I loved wearing my Vibram 5-Fingers for short distance jogging, though longer distances aggravated my deformed toes. The Barefoot Pace Glove gives me the same ground feelings of my Viibram 5-Fingers (seeing the soles are made by the same name) - yet the freedom of my toes means minus the pain. They are AWESOME and I am in love.

These shoes are great for the gym. Light - so can carry them to work with no hassle. They are comfortable and cool. When I wear my old trainers I feel like Ive got bricks on my feet... I will never go back. Barefoot all the way for me now.

Best shoes I've ever owned. I have had them close to a year now and wear them pretty much every day. Running in the city, bush walking, at the office... a true multipurpose minimalist shoe. I have worn mine so much they are at the point that the sole has almost worn out in places :D The change: It took a little bit for my body to adjust to them, my calfs were so skinny, but now they have built up and I am so proud of them, I wasn't aware of how weak my calves had become until I got these shoes. Now I can run longer with or without shoes. I have noticed that my toes are no longer all bunched up and uncomfortably rubbing on each other, I've even gone up a shoe size: i know because I went and bought a new pair of the Dash Glove yesterday! I feel more aware of my body from my feet up and it's the best feeling, learning to analysis your body movements. Also go back to other shoes is an unpleasant experience, I notice I get a head ache and just feel weird walking around in "normal shoes" since I strike my heel too hard and cant wait to get back into my merrells or just get out of the "normal shoes" The not so good: There are only two not so good points I have found with these shoes: one is the rubber peeling off from the toes and the other being the bands running across the tongue that can cause discomfort if they are in the wrong spot when lacing up. Bottom line: These shoes are awesome, just take your time to build up your muscles and listen to your body.
