I bought a pair of black Savannahs five years ago and loved them so much that a few months later I purchased a pair of brown ones. The black ones broke between the toes last month. They have lasted extremely well and the brown pair are still going strong. I have noticed that the sizing has changed since my original purchases. My new black ones bought a month ago are a size larger as a new 38 is now too tight in the straps. Unfortunately I wore them a couple of times before realizing that on a hot day they are uncomfortable. I then bought a pair of size 39 and they are perfect. Unfortunately the shop only had the one pair so I couldn't compare fitting at the time. Now have an as new pair of 38s to on sell!

How do you most use this product?:
General summer holiday wear and hot days at home. Only sandal I have ever worn when walking easy bush tracks on holiday. Great to take when travelling overseas as I can wear them all day and don't feel too casual when eating out. They don't look heavy with a skirt.

I LOVE my Savannah shoes....so comfortable and look great on. I've had horrible experiences with other brand shoes being too hard in the sole and I never ended up wearing them but I wear these all the time. I'm saving for another pair in a different colour.

I too adore the Savannah sandals but have also had the toe piece repaired and they have broken for the 2nd time. The shoe man says he does these often! Pleeeeeeeeeeaase fix this issue so we can all buy our favourite sandals again!

Yes I love Savannah sandals as they are so comfortable but I have had the same problem. This is my second pair to break between the toe. They were kindly replaced the first time, not sure what to do with my second pair. They were the most comfortable sandals I have had.

I have bought two pairs of these sandals because they are very comfortable and stylish. However, on both pairs the piece between the large toe and the next toe have split within one year of purchase. I tried to have the first pair mended but they were so uncomfortable I had to throw them away. This is so disappointing because it appears to be a design fault, given the other comments on this website.
